Good Egg
Nominated, Best Newcomer
(Melbourne Comedy Festival 2021)
Winner, Best Emerging Artist & Nominated, Best Comedy
(Melbourne Fringe 2019)
In 2001, Scout’s mum watched Amelie and decided to give Scout a quirky blunt fringe and bob haircut, condemning her kid to three formative years of living down the nickname “egg head”.
Since this early baptism of yolk and fire, Scout has embraced their high forehead, capitalised on a knack for pre-emptive self-deprecating humour and reclaimed the word “egg” as a gender-neutral term of endearment.
18 years later, Scout Boxall brings their unique blend of sketch, clown, stand-up and low-fi, prop-heavy misandry to the stage in their raw first solo hour. It’s a cracking time.
